Our Mission

Real Estate Tutor was initially set up to support students that were finding difficulties in understanding their university lecturers or comprehending poorly curated course material, surprisingly at some of the UK's top learning institutions.

Our mission was therefore to deliver a service that would guarantee students at least a minimum pass grade, through using methods that demystify complex topics and explain them in a straight-forward manner.

Professors can speak in overly academic terms and sometimes unnecessarily overcomplicate, whilst our tutor, with over 15 years in Finance, specialises in breaking topics down using real-life case study examples that give better context and gives students a fuller grasp of what actually really happens in professional practice.

Today, we now offer a wider range of services for students and businesses, including purchasable real estate investment appraisal models, mock interview case study tests and structured Real Estate and Private Equity financial modelling courses.

Our tutor, Dan, is a qualified CFA Charterholder and Investment Manager for a CRE Private Equity fund. He has over 15 years of experience in portfolio management, coaching analysts and building large complex real estate models for a variety of financial investment purposes. He also runs corporate training seminars, with the most recent being a dedicated financial modelling programme for the Valuations team at Avison Young.
